Deception...

is a Blues Band based in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Art Panchishin formed the band "Deception" with bass player, Steve Fultz and drummer Gary Huntbatch back in the 1990's. Art asked sax player Helen Kahlke to join the band in 2005 after he met her at a gig.

In 2009 there was a major line-up change when Steve and Gary left the band. In the fall of 2009 Art filled the vacant bass and drum spots with musicians he’s known for years. Then in spring 2010 Art had the opportunity to add a Hammond player—something Art has dreamed about since the mid 70s.
